“Watch and pray.”

As you watch the story of Easter unfold in these videos, how would you have felt to be there and see it? What feelings and thoughts would have gripped my heart and mind? What can I learn from this experience knowing that I—particularly in these latter days—also experience anger, sadness, loneliness, and confusion at times but am promised unspeakable joy if I remain faithful to my covenants?

Now, can I imagine what Mary Magdalene felt when she realized that it was Jesus standing there, calling her by name at the sepulcher? Can I imagine what I will feel when I stand in the presence of the Savior and hear Him call me by name?

Discuss these with your family or friends and bear your testimony of Him.

Mientras observa cómo se desarrolla la historia de la Pascua en estos videos, ¿cómo se habría sentido al estar allí y verlo? ¿Qué sentimientos y pensamientos se habrían apoderado de mi corazón y mi mente? ¿Qué puedo aprender de esta experiencia sabiendo que yo, particularmente en estos últimos días, también experimento ira, tristeza, soledad y confusión en ocasiones, pero se me promete un gozo inefable si me mantengo fiel a mis convenios? Ahora, ¿puedo imaginar lo que sintió María Magdalena cuando se dio cuenta de que era Jesús parado allí, llamándola por su nombre en el sepulcro? ¿Puedo imaginar lo que sentiré cuando esté en la presencia del Salvador y lo escuche llamarme por mi nombre?
