Serving in Honor of 9/11

Friends of Redding Stake

JustServe.org has joined with other organizations and the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance organization to do acts of service during the month of September.

"The founders of the 9/11 National Day of Service want people to remember not the terror, but the ability to come together."--Sharon Eubank, Director of JustServe.org.

Check out the JustServe.org website, do service of your own choosing, or join with other members of the stake in one of our community projects:

September 20, 1:30 pm--meet at Lewiston School Cafeteria for fresh apple pie making. Pies will be distributed to the community the next day.

September 21, 8 am-noon--meet at Plantable Nursery and Cafe (2024 California St. Redding) for community creek clean up. (see Community Creek Clean up Info and Waivers for more information). This project is for 10 years and over only.
